Warranty

Most products we sell include a manufacturer’s warranty. Coverage terms, durations, and processes vary by brand and item. Unless expressly stated on a product page, Marine Parts Only does not provide additional store warranties beyond the manufacturer’s coverage.

What manufacturer warranties generally cover

  • Defects in materials or workmanship under normal use within the stated term.
  • Repair or replacement of the defective part at the manufacturer’s discretion.

What warranties generally do not cover

  • Wear items, consumables, damage from misuse, improper installation, lack of maintenance, modifications, racing/competition use, or environmental exposure.
  • Labor, diagnostic time, removal/installation costs, and consequential damages, unless the manufacturer’s policy explicitly includes them.

How to start a warranty claim

  1. Locate your order number, product serial/lot number (if applicable), and proof of purchase.
  2. Contact us with photos/video and a description of the issue. We will help you follow the correct manufacturer process and provide any required forms or return authorization.
  3. In many cases, the manufacturer requires inspection before approval. You may be responsible for shipping the item for evaluation unless the policy states otherwise.

Dead on arrival (DOA)

Please report DOA items within 7 calendar days of delivery. We will help arrange a replacement or return per the manufacturer’s procedure.

Important notes

  • Do not disassemble or modify a product before contacting us; doing so may void coverage.
  • Keep original packaging until your claim is resolved. Some brands require original packaging for transport and inspection.
