Most products sold by Marine Parts Only include a manufacturer warranty. Warranty coverage, term length, claim requirements, and available remedies vary by brand and item.

Unless expressly stated on a product page, Marine Parts Only does not provide additional store warranties beyond the applicable manufacturer's warranty.

What Manufacturer Warranties Generally Cover

  • Defects in materials or workmanship under normal use within the stated warranty term.
  • Repair or replacement of the defective part at the manufacturer's discretion.

What Warranties Generally Do Not Cover

  • Wear items, consumables, improper installation, misuse, lack of maintenance, modifications, racing or competition use, environmental exposure, corrosion, or damage caused after delivery.
  • Labor, diagnostic time, removal, installation, towing, storage, loss of use, and consequential damages unless the manufacturer's written policy specifically includes them.

How to Start a Warranty Claim

  1. Locate your order number, product part number, serial or lot number if applicable, and proof of purchase.
  2. Email support@marinepartsonly.com with photos or video and a description of the issue.
  3. We will help you follow the correct manufacturer process and provide any required forms, instructions, or return authorization when applicable.

Dead on Arrival Items

Please report dead-on-arrival items within 7 calendar days of delivery. We will help arrange a replacement, return, or manufacturer claim according to the applicable procedure.

Important Notes

  • Do not disassemble, install, modify, or continue using a product after discovering a possible defect before contacting us; doing so may affect warranty eligibility.
  • Keep original packaging until the claim is resolved. Some manufacturers require original packaging for transport and inspection.
