Airmar B175H Bronze Thru-Hull Transducer with 12° Tilt, 1kW - High Frequency 130-210 kHz for Small Boats
Airmar B175H Bronze Thru-Hull Transducer with 12° Tilt, 1kW - High Frequency 130-210 kHz for Small Boats
Airmar B175H Bronze Thru Hull with 12 Tilt 8 Pin Connector
Airmars low-profile, Chirp-ready transducer models are the perfect addition to smaller boats such as center consoles. The high-frequency band delivers a narrow beamwidth, excellent for pinpointing fish holding tight to wrecks, reefs, and other structures. High frequency also shows amazing target separation on baitfish and schooling gamefish. Transmitting across 130 to 210 kHz, the B175H has up to 80 kHz of total bandwidth in just one installation for superior shallow-water performance and bottom detail.
Tilted Element transducers have the element fixed at a 20, 12, or 0 angle within the housing. Because the transducer is installed almost flush to the hull, the tilt corrects for the hulls deadrise. It orients the ceramic element horizontally to ensure maximum echo returns to the transducer.
Features
- Fixed 12 tilted version for 8 to 15 hull deadrise angles
- Depth and fast-response water-temperature sensing
- 1 kW of power with a maximum depth of 304 m (1000)
- High frequency: 130 to 210 kHz
- 10 to 6 beamwidth
- 80 kHz of total bandwidth from one transducer
- High frequency delivers superior shallow-water performance, bottom detail, and fish-target separation
- Low-profile, thru-hull housing yields good display resolution at speed when installed properly
- Recommended for stepped, planing, or displacement hull
- Bronze housing for use in a fiberglass or wood hull
- Patented Xducer ID technology

The Airmar B175H Bronze Thru-Hull Transducer is designed for small to medium-sized boats, offering exceptional performance in shallow water environments. Its low-profile, Chirp-ready design makes it ideal for center consoles, recreational fishing, and yachting, providing crystal-clear images of underwater structures and fish targets. With a high-frequency range of 130 to 210 kHz, this transducer delivers a narrow beamwidth for pinpoint accuracy and superior target separation, making it perfect for anglers seeking detailed bottom detail and fish detection near wrecks and reefs. The 80 kHz of bandwidth ensures versatile performance, allowing you to switch seamlessly between high-resolution imaging and extended depth capabilities. Its bronze housing ensures durability and corrosion resistance when installed in fiberglass or wooden hulls, making it a reliable choice for both salt and freshwater boats.
The tilted element feature, fixed at a 12° angle, corrects for hull deadrise up to 15°, which helps maintain optimal echo returns even when installed almost flush to the hull. This orientation ensures maximum sonic energy is transmitted into the water, resulting in clearer images and better fish detection at speeds. The transducer also includes depth and water temperature sensing, providing valuable real-time data for navigation and fishing. Its power rating of 1 kW allows for a maximum depth of 1,000 feet (304 meters), making it suitable for a wide range of marine applications. Installation is straightforward with a 95 mm (3-3/4 inch) hole size in fiberglass or wooden hulls, and the transducer’s weight of approximately 6 pounds ensures stability and reliability during operation.
Designed for versatility, the Airmar B175H is suitable for stepped, planing, or displacement hulls and can be used on vessels up to 36 feet long. Its advanced Prop 65 warning highlights the potential chemical exposure during manufacturing, ensuring compliance and safety. The transducer’s durable urethane acoustic window and rugged bronze housing guarantee long-lasting performance in demanding marine conditions, making it an excellent investment for serious anglers and boaters seeking precise underwater imaging.
