Garmin P19 Nylon 12 Tilt Transducer - 8-Pin | Minimize Drag with Deep Echo Sounding Up to 700 Feet
Garmin P19 Nylon 12 Tilt Transducer - 8-Pin | Minimize Drag with Deep Echo Sounding Up to 700 Feet
Minimize Your Drag
The P19 model have been the standard in low-profile models for many years. Their large sensitive ceramics allow deep echosounding up to 206M (700'). These nearly flush units minimize drag as only 5mm (2/10") of the housing extends outside of the hull. The plastic P19 provides a vertical beam without a fairing. Inside the housing, the ceramic element is tilted to provide built-in deadrise compensation. The resulting vertical beam provides excellent echo returns for moreaccurate depth readings.

The Garmin P19 Nylon 12 Tilt Transducer, part number 010-10218-21, is engineered for precise depth and temperature readings on cruising powerboats and sailboats up to 30 feet in length. This low-profile, nearly flush transducer minimizes drag with only 0.2 inches of housing extending outside the hull, making it ideal for vessels where performance and hydrodynamics are critical. Its large sensitive ceramics enable deep echosounding up to 700 feet (206 meters), providing reliable and accurate depth data even in challenging conditions. The ceramic element is tilted within the housing to offer built-in deadrise compensation, ensuring vertical beam alignment that enhances echo return quality and depth accuracy. The plastic housing adheres to ABYC H-27 standards, offering durability and safety for marine environments. Designed with a fixed 12-degree tilt suitable for hull deadrise angles from 8 to 15 degrees, this transducer features a right-angle cable exit to accommodate low headroom installations and protect the cable when stepped on. The included rubber washer ensures a tight seal on irregular hull surfaces, preventing water intrusion and maintaining optimal performance. An optional temperature sensor can be added for additional environmental data collection. Compatible with a wide range of boats, the Garmin P19 transducer is suitable for vessels up to 30 feet, making it a versatile choice for both cruising and sailing applications. Proper installation and usage are essential for optimal results, and the product complies with all necessary safety standards. Please note this product may contain chemicals known to the State of California to cause cancer, birth defects, or reproductive harm; for more information, visit P65Warnings.ca.gov.
