6/2 AWG Duplex Cable - Flat Cable - Red/Black - Sold By The Foot

Duplex Boat Cable is used in low voltage AC applications as well as DC circuits. Pacer manufactures 6 AWG Duplex boat cable in house in the USA for the best quality. First, the cable is built from finely stranded, Type III tinned copper conductors. These conductors allow for flexibility and help to prevent corrosion.

The PVC jacket helps 6 AWG Duplex Boat Cable to be flexible while preventing moisture from accumulating. How does it do that During the extrusion process, the spaces between wires are filled. This leaves no space for moisture or air to accumulate. After that, a talcum powder coating is given to the interior wires. This coating is used to allow the outer jacket to be easily removed. Just another reason 6 AWG Duplex boat cable is perfect for marine use.

Pacers marine wire exceeds the requirements and standards of UL, ABYC, and NMMA.

Pacer 6/2 AWG Duplex Marine Cable is a flexible, flat red-and-black boat cable designed for low-voltage AC applications and DC circuits. Sold by the foot, this cable is a practical choice for marine wiring projects that require two conductors, corrosion resistance, and dependable insulation performance in demanding environments.

Manufactured in the USA, the Pacer W6/2DC-FT uses finely stranded, Type III tinned copper conductors made to ASTM B172 Class K specifications. The tinned copper construction supports flexibility and helps resist corrosion, while the color-coded PVC insulation makes conductor identification easier during installation. The extruded outer insulation is manufactured without gaps between the wires, helping prevent moisture and air from accumulating inside the cable. A talcum powder coating is applied to the interior wires to help make the outer jacket easier to remove.

This 6/2 AWG duplex boat cable is intended for marine electrical installations, including low-voltage AC and DC circuits. Its insulation is resistant to acid, alkali, abrasion, flame, gasoline, oil, and moisture. The cable exceeds the stated requirements and standards of UL, ABYC, and NMMA, making it suitable for customers seeking properly specified marine-grade duplex wire for boat and vessel wiring applications.
