16/2 AWG Duplex Cable - Flat Cable - Red/Black - 500

Duplex Boat Cable is used in low voltage AC applications as well as DC circuits. Pacer manufactures 16 AWG Duplex boat cable in house in the USA for the best quality. First, the cable is built from finely stranded, Type III tinned copper conductors. These conductors allow for flexibility and help to prevent corrosion.

The PVC jacket helps 16 AWG Duplex Boat Cable to be flexible while preventing moisture from accumulating. How does it do that During the extrusion process, the spaces between wires are filled. This leaves no space for moisture or air to accumulate. After that, a talcum powder coating is given to the interior wires. This coating is used to allow the outer jacket to be easily removed. Just another reason 16 AWG Duplex boat cable is perfect for marine use.

Pacers marine wire exceeds the requirements and standards of UL, ABYC, and NMMA.

Pacer W16/2DC-500 16/2 AWG Duplex Boat Cable is a flexible, color-coded marine wire designed for low-voltage AC applications and DC circuits. Featuring red and black conductors, this flat duplex cable helps simplify polarity identification during installation while providing a practical wiring solution for boats, marine systems, and other appropriate electrical applications.

Manufactured in the USA by Pacer, the cable uses annealed, finely stranded, Type III tinned copper conductors made to ASTM B172 Class K specifications. The stranded construction supports flexibility, while tin plating helps resist corrosion. A flexible PVC jacket is extruded around the cable with the spaces between the wires filled to help prevent moisture and air from accumulating inside the cable. The interior wires also receive a talcum powder coating to help the outer jacket separate more easily during installation.

This 16/2 AWG duplex cable is rated for 600 volts and features insulation rated from -4°F to 221°F. Its jacket and insulation are resistant to acid, alkali, abrasion, flame, gasoline, oil, and moisture. Pacer W16/2DC-500 marine wire exceeds the applicable requirements and standards of UL, ABYC, and NMMA, with compliance to UL Standard 1426, U.S.C.G. 33 CFR Part 183, and ABYC E-11.14. The cable is sold as an individual 500-foot length.

Key Features:

  • Duplex construction: Includes two conductors for low-voltage AC applications and DC circuits.
  • Tinned copper conductors: Annealed, finely stranded Type III copper supports flexibility and corrosion resistance.
